Refund Policy

Overview
X4 Digital aims to be fair and transparent. Here is exactly what happens at each stage if you want to cancel or request a refund.
Days 1 - 14
EU/UK cooling-off period. Full refund of the EUR 1 activation fee, no questions asked. Your site is taken offline and your account is closed. To request: use the downgrade button in your dashboard or email support@x4digital.co.
Days 1 - 30
Before first subscription charge. The EUR 1 activation fee is not refunded (outside the 14-day window), but you will not be charged EUR 9. Your account is immediately downgraded to Free tier. Your site stays live with limited features.
After Day 30
After first subscription charge. No refunds for the current billing period. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Until then, you keep full access to your current tier's features.
Mid-cycle upgrade
Upgrade (e.g., Starter to Pro). Prorated billing via Stripe. You pay the difference for the remainder of the current period.
Mid-cycle downgrade
Downgrade. No refund for the current period. Your new (lower) tier takes effect at the next billing date.
How to Cancel
- Dashboard: Go to your dashboard and click "Downgrade" or "Cancel" in the plan section.
- Email: Send a cancellation request to support@x4digital.co from your registered email.
Cancellation is always one-click. We will never make it difficult to leave.
What Happens to Your Site
When you downgrade to Free tier:
- Your site stays live (it is never deleted without your explicit request)
- Features are limited to the Free tier (1 published page, X4 branding footer)
- You can always re-upgrade to restore full features
- You can download your site files at any time
